MEMORANDUM OF SPECIAL TERMS
AGREED for TWO FIXERS for the
NEWFOUNDLAND GOVERNMENT, ST. JOHNS

Rates of pay 3/-d per hour.
Free passage provided out and home.
Free board & lodging at St. John’s.
Pay to commence from date of embarkation and to cease on date of disembarking.
Time allowance of 8 hours per day whilst travelling.
Hours of work on Memorial to be as many as necessary per day.
Date of embarking at Glasgow, 22nd, April 24 on S/S/ “Cranley”.

Time Sheets showing hours worked and moneys received to be certified by Co. T. Nangle, or his representative at St. John’s, and forwarded to Messrs, Fenning & Co. Ltd, every 15 days.

Family allowance will be dealt with by Messrs. Fenning & Co.
