25th March, 1920 Dear Sir, I am directed to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of the 17th instant, in which you state that you have not yet received the Memorial Card in respect of your late son, no 2630, Lance Corporal, Henry A King, reported missing April 13th, 1918. If I remember aright, you have already complained of the non-receipt of this Memorial Card, and we have accordingly drawn the same to the attention of Messrs, Ayre & Sons, who are charged with the framing and dispatching of the said cards. I am, therefore, at a loss to understand why the matter has not long ago been finalized. I shall accordingly immediately draw this omission again to their notice, and urge upon them the need of giving the same their earliest attention and for the tracing of the card if it has been sent from their establishment, or indicate to me just what the cause of the delay has been. I trust that we will obtain some satisfaction in the matter without delay. Yours faithfully, Mr. Richard King, ( of Wm) Source: The Rooms, Provincial Archives, St. John's, NL
