May 12, 1916 Dear Capt. Montgomerie, I beg to forward you herewith letter from Rev. E. C. Clench, Spaniard’s Bay, regarding a boy named Mark Hutchings, of that place, sixteen years of age, who enlisted. It is possible that this matter has been settled long ere this, but I send you the papers in order that you may consider them and take any action that you think is necessary in the premises.
